The city of Korçë (Albania) is hosting the international folklore festival Shpirti i Ballkanit — "Spirit of the Balkans", bringing together ensembles from Albania, North Macedonia, Bulgaria, Montenegro, Romania, and Greece.

In 2025, Albania is celebrating the 90th anniversary of the birth of Maks Velo (1935-2020), one of the most prominent Albanian artists, architects, and writers of the 20th century.
