In the German city of Mainz, a historic event unfolded as the world’s largest printed Bible page was unveiled, marking the 625th anniversary of Johannes Gutenberg’s birth.

The first-ever X-ray images, taken by German physicist Wilhelm Conrad Röntgen in the late 19th century, have been officially added to UNESCO’s “Memory of the World” international register.
